This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “(a) Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, or any other suitable writ, thereby directing the Respondent to forthwith reflect/ update the payment of Rs.23,46,004/- (Rs. Twenty three lakhs forty six thousand and four only) paid by Petitioner on 03.07.2026 (vide Challan No. 70553564, File No. AVMPS6177P, HDFC Bank Transaction No. FT1849915273) in its official records/e-services portal; and This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 13/08/2026 at 11:34:56 (b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the Respondent to execute the Conveyance Deed in favour of the Petitioner in respect of Plot No. 6772/2, Sector NA, Pocket NA, Block NA, admeasuring 129.66 sq. mtrs., situated in Basti Reghar, Karol Bagh, Bagh Raoji, Delhi; (c)issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the Respondent to hand over physical possession of the aforesaid Plot to the Petitioner, within a time-frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, having regard to the impending restrictions on construction activity in Delhi with effect from November, 2026;…” 2. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Ms. Sen, learned standing counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent DDA and has obtained instructions. 4. She states that the amount of Rs. 23,46,004/- was not reflected as the petitioner had given a wrong challan number. 5. However, she states that the amount has been received by the DDA and will be reflected as paid by the petitioner. 6. In this view of the matter, the prayer of the petitioner stands satisfied and the petitioner shall proceed as per e-auction terms. 7. The petition stands disposed of.
