... Opp. Party
CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY
------
For the Petitioner : Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Advocate
For the Opp. Party : Spl. P.P.
------
02/Dated: 26th May, 2026 Heard Mr. Rajesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 81 of 2026. The petitioner in an inebriated state had trespassed into the house of the informant and had molested his minor daughters and when the wife of the informant tried to save her daughters, she was assaulted. The petitioner had thereafter escaped and returned with 15-20 boys, who had assaulted the guests of the informant. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and he does not have any criminal antecedent, but regard being had to the nature of allegations leveled against the petitioner and the evidence of the victim recorded under Section 183 of the BNSS who has supported the allegations leveled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is hereby rejected at this stage. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
