By this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner has prayed for the following prayer : “It is, therefore prayed that the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to quash the entire criminal proceedings initiated vide chargesheet dated 22.12.2021 under Sections 364, 365, 294, 506, 323, 147 of IPC, 1860 in Crime No.1190/2021 (Annexure P/1) registered before the Police Station Sarkanda, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.) and pending before the Court of IV Additional Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.) in Sessions Case No.67/2022, in the interest of justice.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of this matter, the petitioner has died, therefore, the instant petition become infructuous and he does not want to press this case. 4.
