Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That call for the entire records pertaining to the promotion process and the impugned promotion order dated 26.12.2025 for kind perusal of the Hon’ble Court. 10.2 That kindly do issue a nature of appropriate writ, and directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Lecturer (LB) E Cadre and to place her at an appropriate position in the promotion order dated 26.12.2025 for the subjects of Commerce in accordance with law and relevant circulars/guidelines in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.3 That may kindly issue writ/ or nature of appropriate to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner strictly in accordance with the seniority/ gradation list issued as on 25.09.2025 and to consider his promotion to the post of Lecturer (LB) E Cadre above the private respondent Nos. 6 to 14 in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.4 That may kindly pass any other orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is holding the post of Teacher and he was eligible and entitled for consideration of his name for promotion to the post of Lecturer (Commerce). Juniors to the petitioner in the gradation list have been considered for their promotion and the promotion order has also been issued in their favour. Petitioner was though considered for promotion, however, promotion order has not been issued in his favour. 3 / 3 Petitioner aggrieved with the inaction on the part of respondents has already submitted representation before Respondent Nos. 2, 4 & 5, however, till date decision has not been taken on the representation. 3. Learned State counsel submits that grievance of petitioner is that petitioner though otherwise eligible for promotion, however, he was not promoted and the juniors to the petitioner have been promoted and that petitioner has already submitted representation before the competent authority. Representation submitted by petitioner will be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Grievance of petitioner is that petitioner though otherwise is eligible for his promotion on the post of Lecturer (Commerce) but he has been superseded by their juniors and without assigning any reason. Petitioner has already approached the competent authority for redressal of her grievance. 6. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised in this writ petition, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of with a direction to Respondent Nos. 2, 4 & 5 to consider and take decision on the representation of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a further period of 06 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 7.
