JUSTICE SHAMIMA JAHAN ORDER Date : 23.09.2026 Heard Mr. R Islam, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr. B. Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. By the order dated 31.08.2026 as well as by order dated 14.09.2026, this Court directed the learned Additional Public Prosecutor to get the information from the Barpeta Road Police Station as to whether any case has been registered against the petitioners namely Abu Bakkar Akand, Jahar Ali, Mahar Ali Akand, Shaha Ali, Jamal Uddin, Sanidul Islam, Sahadat Hussain @ Sahadat Mundal and Sanowar Hussain @ Sanobar Hussain and when the matter is called up today, Mr. B. Sharma, Additional Public Prosecutor has placed the instruction dated 14.09.2026 received from the Officer In Charge of Barpeta Road Police Station, wherein it was stated that on verification of the Police Station records, no case was found to have been registered at the Barpeta Road Police Station in connection with the bail application filed before this Court. As such, the learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter be closed. Prayer is allowed. Page No.# 4/4 Further the interim order dated 31.08.2026 also stands vacated.
