The petitioner is an accused in connection with Keraikella P.S. Case No.31 of 2025. The petitioner and the informant had a love affair, after which physical relationship was established on several occasions. The informant came to know that the petitioner is planning to solemnize marriage with another girl. When a complaint was made in the police station, the petitioner initially refused to acknowledge the relationship, but subsequently, agreed to solemnize marriage, but till date he has not kept his promise. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the first information report itself shows that there is a love affair between the petitioner and the informant. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.02.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the entire allegations leveled against the petitioner which clearly reveals that a relationship existed between the petitioner and the informant, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Sub-Divisional Court, Chakradharpur at Chaibasa in connection with Keraikella P.S.
