JUSTICE P SREE SUDHA ORAL JUDGMENT This appeal is filed by the Insurance Company challenging the judgment and award dated 28.04.2025 in MVC No.5572/2024, passed by the VII Additional SCJ and ACJM, Member, MACT-3, Bengaluru. 2. The injured claimant met with an accident on 06.07.2024 and filed a claim petition claiming compensation of Rs.15,00,000/-. The Tribunal, after considering the entire evidence on record, awarded compensation of Rs.4,73,592/- with interest on the rate of 6% per annum. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11301 MFA No. 4573 of 2025 3. Aggrieved by the said order, the Insurance Company preferred an appeal. However, during the pendency of the appeal, both parties entered into a compromise and a joint memo was filed stating that they had agreed to receive Rs.4,00,000/- with interest towards full and final settlement. BMTC also agreed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum towards the full and final settlement of the claim and further agreed to deposit the amount within a period of six weeks. 4.
