The petitioner is an accused in connection with Manika PS Case No. 11 of 2019. It has been alleged that on 07.03.2019 the accused persons had forcibly stopped the work in the house of the informant at which an assault was committed and when the villagers intervened, they went away. Subsequently at 5:00 p.m. when the informant and his wife were going to their old house, they were confronted and the wife of the informant was strangulated to death. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on completion of investigation, final form was submitted by the Investigating Officer in favour of the petitioner but the learned trial Court differing with the final form had taken cognizance. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 06.01.2026. Learned counsel further submits that the findings of the post-mortem report are contrary to the allegation of throttling as alleged against the petitioner. It has been submitted that one of the co-accused in similar circumstances has been granted bail in B.A. No. 4976 of 2019. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Latehar in connection with Manika PS Case No. 11 of 2019, corresponding to S.T.
