This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, praying for the grant of pre-arrest bail to the accused petitioner, namely, Sri. Apurba Kumar Roy, in connection with Golakganj P.S. Case No. 173/2026, under Sections 126/115(2)/118(2)/351(2) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The allegations, as reflected in the FIR, are that the petitioner assaulted the informant, causing him to fall to the ground, and thereafter pressed his chest, as a result of which the informant fell ill. It is further alleged that the petitioner threatened to kill the informant. 4. It is submitted by the learned Addl. Public Prosecutor that the charge- sheet has already been submitted vide C.S. No. 182/2026 dated 28.09.2026. 5. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, pursuant to the interim protection, the petitioner had appeared before the I.O., and his statement had also been recorded. 6. Having regard to the above, as well as the nature of the allegations and the fact that the charge-sheet has already been submitted, the prayer for pre- arrest bail is allowed. 7. Accordingly, in the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with two sureties of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, with the following Page No.# 3/3 conditions: (i) The petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such person from disclosing such facts to the Court or to the police. (ii) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the concerned police station without prior intimation to the I.O. 8. The petition stands disposed of as allowed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
