The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody in connection with Katkamdag (Hazaribag) P.S. Case No.159 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 25(1-B) (a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act. As per the prosecution case, one country-made pistol along with two cartridges were seized from this petitioner. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 25.09.2025 and he has no criminal antecedent. Further the procedure of seizure has not been followed as per the provisions under the BNSS, 2023. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Considering the nature of offence and period of custody, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
