07.04.2026 Court No.28 Item No.32 ssi CRM (A) 1049 of 2026 In Re: - An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Suraksha Nagarik Sanhita in connection with Dubrajpur Police Station Case No. 71 of 2026 dated 21.02.2026 under Sections 329 (3)/115(2)/117(2)/ 118(2)/74/351(2)/3(5) of the BNS 2023. And In the matter of: Rejaul Sk @ Sekh Rejaul Karim @ Sekh Rejaul Karim & others. …. Petitioners Mr. Kunal Ganguly …for the petitioners Mr. Saibal Bapuli, Ld. APP Ms. Arani Bhattacharya …for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case. There was a fight between neighbours. The petitioners may be granted anticipatory bail on any stringent conditions. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statements of the victims and the other eye-witnesses. He also refers to the injury reports of the two victims. It appears that injuries were inflicted on different parts of the body, including a vital part like the head. In fact, one of the victims suffered an elbow fracture. Considering the above and the other incriminating materials available in the case diary, I do not consider this is to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 2 Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
