The present Petition under Section 29A(4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the Petitioner for extending the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 2. Material on record indicates that an Arbitral Tribunal was constituted by this Court vide Order dated 17.08.2023 in ARB.P.228/2023. It is stated that though the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal will expire on 30.10.2026, by way of abundant caution, the parties have approached this Court seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for one year, i.e. till 30.10.2027. It is stated that evidence of both parties has been concluded and, therefore, the mandate of the Arbitrator is be extended for a period of 12 months. 4. In view of the facts of the present case, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal till 31.07.2026, so that the award can be pronounced. 6.
