For the O.P. : Mr. Bishwambhar Shastri, A.P.P. --- 02/26.05.2026 Heard Mr. Rajesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. The petitioners are accused in connection with Murhu P.S. Case No.68 of 2025. It has been alleged that the informant was abducted by the petitioner on the point of knife and an amount of Rs.7,00,000/- was demanded as ransom. After five days, the police managed to free the informant from the clutches of the petitioners. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that in the F.I.R. itself, it has been mentioned that the informant was in the jungle for five days and both the petitioners had accompanied the police and thereafter, the informant was freed which would reveal that the petitioners were not the persons who had abducted the informant. It is further submitted that the petitioners do not have any criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 04.12.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners. Regard being had to above, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Khunti in connection with Murhu P.S.
