Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. By this application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Ajay Singha, has prayed for grant of pre-arrest bail in connection with Special(P) Case No.50/2026 under Sections 144(1)/140(3)/142/87/61(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with Section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The scanned copy of the TCR has been received and on perusal of the same, it appears that the trial of the case is already started and the statement of the victim and the informant has already been recorded and there appears to be no such incriminating materials against the petitioner. Having regard to the above, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. The petitioner, in the event of his arrest in connection with the aforesaid case, shall be released on pre-arrest bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 50,000/- with a surety for like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. The petitioner is directed to appear before the I.O. within a period of 10 days from today. Anticipatory bail application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
