JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH ORDER 06.02.2026 Heard Mr. F Faridi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. B Chakravarty, the learned CGC who appears on behalf of the respondents. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents upon instructions submits that taking into account that the petitioner’s limited prayer is for retention of the government married accommodation till 31.03.2026, the respondents herein could not further contest provided the petitioner herein would vacate the government married accommodation on or before 01.04.2026. 3. Mr. F Faridi, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner would vacate the government married accommodation on or before 01.04.2026. Page No.# 3/3 4. Taking into account the above submissions as well as the prayer made in the writ petition, this Court, therefore, disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to permit the writ petitioner to retain the government married accommodation till 31.03.2026. 5. This Court further directs that the petitioner shall vacate the government married accommodation on or before 01.04.2026. Failure to do so, it shall be construed as a violation to the provisions of the orders passed by this Court.
