This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers: “a) An appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing Respondent No. 1 to produce the Petitioner's original Physical OMR Answer Sheet, applied Answer Key and raw subject-wise scorecard before this Hon'ble Court for the purpose of inspection and verification; and b) An appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a This is a digitally signed order. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 22/08/2026 at 10:48:34 writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing Respondent No.1 to rectify the marks of the Petitioner based on the correct responses marked by him in the OMR Answer Sheet; and c) Upon verification of the aforesaid examination records, direct Respondent No. 1 to correct/revise the Petitioner's marks and result in accordance with the responses actually recorded in the Petitioner's Original OMR Answer Sheet and the applicable Answer Key, and to issue a revised scorecard/result reflecting the marks so determined; and d) Direct Respondent No. 1 and the concerned counselling authorities to permit the Petitioner to participate in the ongoing counselling and admission process for NEET (UG) 2026, and to consider his candidature for admission in accordance with the marks and merit position determined upon such verification/correction, subject to his otherwise fulfilling the applicable eligibility criteria; and e) Pass such other or further writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case, including such orders as may be necessary in the interests of justice and to prevent irreparable prejudice to the Petitioner's academic career. ...” 2.
