Sandhawalia, Chief Justice (Oral) By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner prays for quashing of the tender conditions of two years instead of three years and performance security of Rs.1,50,000/- for the Transportation and Labour Arrangement of LPG Cylinders for Barsar Gas Agency instead of Rs.1,00,000/-, District Hamirpur. Petitioner further prays for uniformly implementation of policy/recommendations contained in the Minutes of Meeting held on 06.11.2020, 1Whether the reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the Judgment? Yes -2- prescribing a contract period of three years and uniform financial conditions applicable throughout the State. 2. Though the petitioner has apparently entered into an agreement and accepted the period of two years and the said fact is evident from the agreement dated 27.08.2024 (Annexure P-2). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per the information received under the Right to Information Act, 2005, for certain tenders in Districts like Nahan and Solan, the contract period for similar agreements is three years. It is, thus, submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is discrimination against the petitioner. 3. Perusal of the paper book would go on to show that the petitioner has already sent a legal notice dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-5) to the respondents, raising the issue of increase of the time period. 4. Keeping in view the above, we are of the considered opinion that the issue in the case at hand is still under consideration and the respondents-Corporation is directed to take a call on the said legal notice dated 01.04.2026 (Annexure P-5), and pass the speaking order, -3- keeping in view the issue raised in the writ petition also. The decision be taken within a period of four weeks’ from today. 5. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. (G.S.
