2. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 & 27 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (hereinafter, referred to as the ‘BNSS’) seeking the following prayers:

ASJ-03, North, Rohini Courts, Delhi) to expedite and conclude the trial of the case pertaining to FIR No.249/2022 registered u/s 302 IPC at P.S. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter is presently at the stage of prosecution evidence. It is submitted that PW-7, who is the complainant as well as an eye-witness to the incident, has failed to appear before the learned Trial Court despite having been granted five opportunities.

Learned counsel for the State, who appears on advance notice, submits that the learned Trial Court has now issued bailable warrants against PW-7 for securing his presence.
5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and make an endeavour to conclude the same as expeditiously as possible, in accordance with law.
6. With these observations, the present petition is disposed of. Pending application(s), if any, also stand(s), disposed of.
