The petitioner is an accused in connection with Maheshpur P.S. Case No.169 of 2023. The petitioner is alleged to have committed murder of the parents of the informant. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 21.11.2023 and there is no chance of trial being concluded in the near future, but regard being had to the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to reconsider the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
