Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Addl. PP for the State respondent. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail by the petitioner namely Uday Roy, who is apprehending arrested in connection with Golakganj P.S. Case No. 24/2026 (G.R. Case No. 129/2026) registered under Sections 69/77/308(2) of the BNSS, 2023, read Page No.# 2/2 with Sections 67(a)/ 67(c) of the IT Act. 3. The case commenced with a lodging of an FIR by the informant alleging, inter-alia that the petitioner, by luring the informant, got into a relationship with her and without her knowledge, made her consume alcohol and raped her against her will. It is also alleged that when the informant was raped, the petitioner took photographs and that he objected to marry her and demanded Rs. 7 lakhs and when the informant showed her inability to pay the amount, the petitioner made the photographs viral in social media. 4. Ms. K. Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier also, there was an FIR between the same parties with the same allegation and that the father of the informant and the petitioner compromised the matter amongst them and had written a compromise settlement letter to the concerned Police Officer and this is the second FIR lodged by the informant against the petitioner. 5. The learned Addl. P.P. submits the petitioner was granted interim bail by order dated 11.03.2026 pursuant to which he appeared before the I.O. and his statement was recorded and subsequently charge sheet was submitted. . 6. Having regard to the above, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. Accordingly, the interim order dated 11.03.2026, passed by this Court is hereby made absolute on the same conditions as may be applicable as on date. 7. The petition stands allowed.
