The petitioner is an accused in connection with Ichak PS Case No. 07/2026. It has been alleged that several persons were apprehended by the police and from their possession, brown sugar was recovered. So far as the petitioner is concerned, 7.4 grams of brown sugar was recovered from his possession. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 14.01.2026 but regard being had to the antecedents of the petitioner and the fact that intermediate quantity of brown sugar was recovered from his possession, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
