The police authority of assessment of the threat perception to the petitioners, and take a decision on the issue of providing adequate security to them.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a direction for disposing of the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P the respondent No.2 and that the instant writ petition be disposed of accordingly.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of instant order. It is further directed that the petitioners shall be provided requisite safety and security to protect their life and liberty, if required. It is however clarified that any observation is not being made by this Court with regard to threat perception to the petitioners or the validity of their marriage. The police authority of concerned District shall be at liberty to ma assessment of the threat perception to the petitioners, and take a decision on the issue of providing adequate security to them.
