Dewan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. 2. This is an application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the order dated 03.06.2025 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.), Rangia, Kamrup in T.S. No.66/2021. 3. The petitioner is the plaintiff before the trial court. He failed to produce his witnesses for cross-examination by the defence side. Several adjournments were taken by the plaintiff. Therefore, the trial court closed the hearing of evidence of the plaintiff and posted the case on 28.07.2025 for recording evidence of the defence side. 4. Mr. Dewan has explained the reasons for which the plaintiff did not produce his witnesses for cross-examination by the defence side. Page No.# 4/4 5. This Court is of the opinion that for the ends of justice, the plaintiff should be given another opportunity to cross-examine of his witnesses by the defence side. Therefore, the impugned order dated 03.06.2025 is set aside. 6. The trial court is directed to provide at least one opportunity to the plaintiff to produce his witnesses for cross-examination by the defence side.
