Against the petitioner herein, in respect of the loss of records, Information Commission, Kalaburgi Bench has passed an order on 04.12.2024. Pursuant to the same, a FIR came to be registered in Crime No.22/2025. 4. Very registration of the FIR as referred to above is challenged in this petition. 5. Sri Praveen Kumar G., learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that registration of the FIR is incorrect - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:2417 CRL.P No. 101304 of 2025 as the report given vide Annexures-A and C by the Tahsildar and the concerned officials would go to show that such a record was not available when the petitioner has taken charge of the post of Tahsildar Grade-II. 6. If it is so, he may place those materials before the Investigation Officer and appropriate report would be filed. 7. If any adverse report is filed against the petitioner, he may choose to challenge the same in accordance with law. 8. With that liberty, following: ORDER Petition is dismissed.
