It appears from the report that on the basis of updates from National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, trail of some amount has been detected and an application made before the learned Magistrate for return of the same to the petitioner. Investigation is in progress. This Court is of the view that the aid and assistance of the Cyber Cell, Barrackpore Commissionerate is necessary for the purpose of a more fruitful and effective investigation including the nabbing the perpetrators and tracing the money trail. In view of the above, the investigating officer is directed to take the aid and assistance of Cyber Crime Cell, Barrackpore Commissionerate in the investigation and take all relevant steps for reaching a logical conclusion in accordance with law.
