The petitioner is an accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 54 of 2024 (Torpa P.S. Case No. 66 of 2024), pending in the court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Khunti. It has been alleged that the rented house of Johan Nag was searched by the police and the petitioner was also found present and on a search conducted huge amount of cash as well as 16.310 Kg. of opium was recovered. Regard being had to the presence of the petitioner at the place of occurrence and the fact that commercial quantity of opium was recovered, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and the same is hereby rejected at this stage.
