By the present petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to respondent No.4 to consider half of the services of the petitioner rendered between 28.05.1985 to 16.07.2018 for the purpose of determining the pensionable service of the petitioner in compliance of Rule 57 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982. 2. In response, the learned counsel for respondent No.4 has tendered a communication dated 08.09.2026, whereby the aforesaid period has been considered as pensionable service in terms of Rule 57 of the said Rules. The said communication dated 08.09.2026 is taken on record and marked as Exhibit ‘X’ for identification. 3. In view of the aforesaid communication, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.
