The Court made the following Order:
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondents. 2. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the 1st petitioner’s Spandana Application dated 24.02.2025 for issuing pattadar pass books. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader relying upon the written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 11.02.2026 submits that the land in Sy.No.1309 of Nannur Village is patta land as per resurvey and resettlement register of Nannur village.
The petitioners filed application requesting for resurvey of the land in Sy.No.1309 of Nannur Village of Orvakal Mandal, to enter their names in webland adangal and issue pattadar passbooks. For the purpose of enquiry, the Mandal Surveyor, the Village Revenue Officer and the 4th respondent inspected the said land and found that the petitioners are not in possession and enjoyment of the same and on the filed the housesite plots are in existence. There is a civil dispute between the petitioners and the pattadars noted in webland adangal over the title of the land. As the 4th respondent is not competent to decide the title over the patta land, the petitioners were informed to approach the competent civil court for the declaration of title over the land in reply to the application of the petitioners. 4
