The instant application has been filed under Sections 483 and 484 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of bail in connection with Macluskiganj P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025 registered under Sections 317(5), 308(2), 308(5), 111(1) of BNS and under Section 25(1-B) (a), 26, 35 of the Arms act,, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, XVII, Ranchi. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he has been implicated in this case on his own confessional statement before the police, which has no evidentiary value. The alleged act of firing has been attributed solely to the co- accused and not to the present petitioner. 3. Further submission has been made that the petitioner is a student of Intermediate studying in Mander College and he is having no criminal antecedent and without any reason he is languishing in jail custody since 10.10.2025. 4. Therefore, submission has been made that the present petitioner may be enlarged on bail. 2026:JHHC:5567 Page | 2 5. Learned Spl. Public Prosecutor appearing for the opposite party-State has seriously opposed the prayer for grant of bail. 6. This Court has heard the learned counsel for the parties. 7. This Court taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner has been implicated in this case on his self- admission and further he is languishing in jail custody sicne 10.10.2025, is of the view that the present application deserves to be allowed. 8. Accordingly, the instant bail application stands allowed. 9. In consequence thereof, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, XVII, Ranchi, in connection with Macluskiganj P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025 with the condition that the petitioner shall co-operate in the trial and shall not absent himself on the date fixed without any cogent cause.
