By way of this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of 60 days for re-establishing social ties with family and friends. 2. Ms. Rubali Bandhopadhya, learned Additional Standing Counsel, who appears on advance notice, has handed up in Court an order dated 06.08.2026, by which the respondent – State has granted the petitioner parole for a period of four weeks, subject to the conditions stated therein.
