Heard Mr. B. Chowdhury, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Ms. A. Begum, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State.
2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, seeking pre- arrest bail to the petitioners, who are apprehending arrest in connection with North Lakhimpur P.S. Case No. 196/2026 (Corresponding to G.R. Case No. 537/2026), registered under Sections 126(2)/ 118(2)/ 351(2)/189(2)/ 191(2)/ and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the FIR has been lodged on 14.06.2026 alleging that the victim has been assaulted with sharp weapon over her head, hand, chest etc. with threat to kill her.
4. The petitioners were granted interim bail vide order dated 26.08.2026.
5. Case diary was called for, in this context, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the investigation has been completed resulted in a charge sheet vide C.S. No. 263/26 dated 11.09.2026.
6. In view of the completion of investigation, I do not deem it necessary to
Page No.# 3/3 cancel the interim bail and accordingly, the interim bail granted to the petitioners vide order dated 14.06.2026 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions that the petitioners shall cooperate with the trial, if one commences; shall not hamper or tamper with evidence and shall not intimidate or try to influence witnesses.
7. Violation or breach of condition(s) shall entail cancellation of the bail.
