ORAL ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer:
"Wherefore, it is prayed that the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to allow this Criminal Petition under section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash entire proceedings in CC No.26207/2019 on the file of the learned III ACJM Court, Bengaluru for offences punishable U/s. 406, 420, 409, 477[A] IPC arising out of Cr. No.162/2018 by Malleshwaram Police Station in so far as the petitioner is concerned in the interest of justice."
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits though he has challenged the proceedings in CC No. 26207/2019, he would restrict his submissions for a direction to the concerned Court to dispose the proceedings as expeditiously as possible as it is already eight years old. 3. In the light of the said prayer being innocuous, I deem it appropriate to dispose the petition with direction to the

concerned Court to dispose the proceedings in accordance with law within an outer limit of six months if not earlier.
