The present application has been filed by the applicant/petitioner, seeking impleadment of Shri Abhijit Bey, the Executive Officer, Silchar Municipal Corporation (SMC, in short), Cachar, PIN-788001 as the respondent/contemnor No. 5 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No. 440/2026. 3. Ms. Choudhury, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that the respondent/contemnor No.1 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No. 440/2026, has already been transferred and in his place, the new incumbent namely, Shri Abhijit Bey, has joined the post of Executive Officer, SMC, Cachar. Therefore, she prays for impleadment of the new incumbent in the connected contempt petition. 4. Having gone through the pleadings as well as the materials available on record and taking note of the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, we are of the opinion that the aforenoted party, is required to be impleaded as respondent/contemnor No.5 in the connected contempt case for its proper adjudication. 5. The applicant/petitioner shall furnish a fresh memo of parties before the Registry within a period of 10 days from today. 6. With the aforesaid, this Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
