2026:UHC:745 SL. No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS WPSS/1680/2024 Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J. No representation for the petitioner. 2. Petitioner is serving as Teacher in Secondary Education Department of the State. He was transferred from one school to another vide order dated 26.07.2024. Challenging his transfer, he filed this writ petition in 2024. 3. Registry pointed out three defects, vide endorsement made on 02.09.2024; however, petitioner has not cared to remove any of the defects. 4. I have gone through the pleadings made in the writ petition and also the prayer. There is no scope for interference, as petitioner’s transfer is made strictly as per condition of his service. There is no allegation of malice. There is no serious infraction of provisions of Transfer Act. Even otherwise also, law is well settled that a government servant holding transferrable post has to join at the transferred place and he cannot dictate terms to the employer regarding the place where he has to be posted. Judicial interference with 2026:UHC:745 transfer order has to be minimal, as unnecessary interference creates hurdle in efficient administration. 5. Thus there is no scope for interference. The writ petition is dismissed.
