For Petitioner(s): Mr.K.Murugesan For Respondent(s): Mr.D.Ravichander, SGP ORDER This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property, morefully described in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 8583 of 2026 the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of patta in his name for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. He has given a representation on 09.10.2025 to the respondents seeking for issuance of patta in his name. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections from the neighbouring land owners, if any or any other third party whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 8583 of 2026 6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2025 seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections from the neighbouring land owners, if any or any other third party whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
