The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following relief(s):- “10.1 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to set aside the order dated 20.08.2019 passed by the respondent no. 2 and also the illegal proceeding adopted by the respondent 4 & 5, in interest of justice. 10.2 This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order or direction to the respondent State authorities to compensate the petitioner for removing him from his post by adopting illegal proceedings. 10.3 Any other relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the facts & circumstances of this case.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, owing to the efflux of time and subsequent developments which have taken place during the pendency of the present writ petition, the reliefs as originally prayed for no longer survive for consideration. It is contended that the cause of action on the basis of which the 4 present petition was instituted has ceased to exist, and therefore, the petition has been rendered infructuous. 4. Learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State fairly concurs with the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner and does not dispute that, in view of the subsequent developments and passage of time, no effective adjudication is now required in the present matter. 5. In view of the aforesaid submissions and upon due consideration of the material available on record, this Court is of the opinion that the present writ petition has lost its efficacy and nothing survives for adjudication.
