This petition has been preferred by petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking following reliefs:- “10.1. That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue appropriate writ, order, direction and direct the respondent authorities to apply the appropriate multiplication as per notification with respect to the compensation for the petitioner's land and the petitioners shall be granted higher compensation. 10.2. That, the issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ/order quashing the impugned order dated 16.05.2023 (Ann.-P/1) passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, Katghora, District Korba (CG). 10.3. That, the Hon'ble Court may further be pleased to pass any order, issuing direction to disburse the higher compensation of land bearing Kh. No. 202/1, 204/1 of which, area (0.0380 and 0.0340 hectare) of land was illegally acquired by the respondents, or issue any suitable writ as may deem fit under the circumstances of the case including the cost of the petition. 10.4 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly direct the Respondents to consider and decide the Petitioners' representation (Ann.-P/2) afresh by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a stipulated time. 10.5 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief as it may deem fit and appropriate” 3 3. The petitioners have filed this writ petition showing their dissatisfaction to the quantum of award passed in their favour for their land acquired by respondent No.2-National Highways Authority. Such grievance can be raised by the petitioners by filing arbitration application under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 before the concerned authority but the petitioners, instead of availing such remedy, have directly preferred this writ petition, therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain instant petition, hence, the same is dismissed. 4.
