It is the case of the petitioner that he has approached the respondent under the Right to Information Act and sought for certain information. It is his grievance that the said information is not furnished and the representation is not considered. Hence he has come before this Court by filing the present writ petition seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation. 3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, perused the material on record. When an application is filed under the Right to Information Act, if the information is not granted within the time bound manner, there is a remedy - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC-D:2567 WP No. 101051 of 2026 available to the petitioner. He cannot come before this Court seeking a writ of mandamus. Accordingly, this Court is passing the following: ORDER i. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy available to him under the Act. ii. All I.As in this writ petition shall stand closed.
