For the O.P. : Mr. Arup Kr. Dey, A.P.P. --- 02/26.05.2026 Heard Mr. Mohit Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. The petitioners are accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 100 of 2025. The husband of the informant was assaulted by the petitioners and their friends and he died during treatment. So far as the petitioner no.2 is concerned, he is not named in the first information report. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that there is no eye-witness to the occurrence and in fact the husband of the informant died on account of sustaining injuries by falling from the bridge. It has further been submitted that only on suspicion, the petitioners have been implicated. Learned counsel adds that the petitioners are in custody since 06.12.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Gumla in connection with Ghaghra P.S.
