Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Standing Counsel. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioners have prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "a) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to make payment of compensation to the petitioners in respect of trees planted by their ancestor Late Vishun Brahman during the year 1917 to 1942 on Basti Dumaria Ganj Road (S. H. 6) between Kilometer 32 to Kilometer 28(new Pilibhit- Betiya Road kilometer 398 to 401)." 3. It appears from the records that the petitioners have already represented the matter to the respondent no. 2 and 4 vide representation dated 25.07.2026 which is still pending consideration. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioners and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. 5. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that the authority concerned shall consider the grievance of the petitioners raised in their representation and decide the same within a period of two Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Abhyuday Shukla, Brijesh Chandra Tripathi, Yogita Shukla Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
