Heard Mr. T. Deuri, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr. S. Bora, learned Standing Counsel, Department of Housing and Urban Affairs, GMDA & GMC for the respondent nos. 1 – 4; and Mr. B.J. Talukdar, learned Senior Counsel assisted by Mr. P.K. Medhi, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam for the respondent no. 5. Mr. Deuri after making submissions for some time, has submitted that the petitioner is not pressing this writ petition in order to avail other appropriate remedy as permissible under the law. In view of the above submission made by Mr. Deuri, learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is not pressed, reserving the liberty to the petitioner to take recourse the appropriate remedy, as permissible under the law.
