By the order of this Court, the learned APP is directed to get the information, as to whether any FIR was lodged against the petitioners before the Kachumara Police Station in the district of Barpeta, Assam, and when the matter is called up today, Mr. B. Sarma, the learned APP, has placed an instruction received from the Officer-in-charge of Kachumara Police Station dated 17.09.2026, by which, it was informed that no FIR or any criminal case stands registered against the petitioners, namely, Shahadul Islam as well as Sufia Khatun in the Kachumara Police Station till date. As such, the learned counsels submit that the petition be closed. 3. Prayer is allowed. 4. This Anticipatory Bail application stands closed and the report dated 17.09.2026 is placed on record.
