Respondent(s) Through: Coram: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE (ACTING) ORDER 06.06.2026 The short grievance as projected by the petitioners in this petition is that they had presented a Sale Deed for registration before the respondent No.4, but the same has neither been registered nor refusal in writing has been conveyed. The respondent No.4, it is alleged, has kept the matter pending. In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and the nature of controversy involved in the matter, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sub-Registrar (SDM), Chadoora, District Budgam to take a final decision on the Sale Deed stated to have been presented by the petitioners before him for registration. If the Sale Deed complies with the requirements of law, the same shall be registered or else refusal in writing shall be conveyed to the petitioners to enable them to avail further remedy under law. The Sub-Registrar shall take a final decision within two weeks from the date a copy of this order is served upon him.
