Shahid Hasan. …for the petitioner. Mr. Prakash Mishra. …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 1 year 2 months. It has been contended that there are no other cases pending against the present petitioner and there was no involvement of the present petitioner, as such, he may be granted bail. On the other hand, learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary which reflects that there was some involvement of the present petitioner which is subject to the facts to be presented by the prosecution before the learned trial court. Charge-sheet has already been submitted before the jurisdictional court. Having regard to the nature of the case and the complicity of the present petitioner, I am of the view that further detention of the petitioner is unwarranted. As such, the prayer for 2 bail of the petitioner is allowed. The petitioner, namely, Samir Mondal shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Bankura. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned court and shall not leave the district of Bankura without prior permission of the court. Accordingly, CRM(M) 2033 of 2025 is allowed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
