This is an application under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 in respect of Special (POCSO) Case No.66/2025 pending in the Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur. 3. The petitioner Md. Safiqul Islam @ Sofiqul Ali has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet. Now, he wants to contest the case and therefore, he prays that he should be given adequate opportunities to that effect. 4. I have considered the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides. 5. Since the petitioner is interested in facing the trial, therefore he deserves to be given adequate opportunities to that effect. 6. Therefore, the petition filed the petitioner is allowed. 7. The Warrant of Arrest issued against the present petitioner shall be recalled. 8. The petitioner Md. Safiqul Islam @ Sofiqul Ali is directed to appear before the Trial Court of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur in respect of Special (POCSO) Case No.66/2025 within next 10 days from today. On his appearance, he shall be released on bail of ₹25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge (POCSO), Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur. 9. The petitioner is directed to appear regularly before the Trial Court on each and every date of hearing in connection with Special (POCSO) Case No.66/2025. If the petitioner fails to do so, the Trial Court shall be at liberty to Page No.# 3/3 procure the attendance of the petitioner in accordance with the procedures as laid down by law.
