For issuance of an appropriate writ, order / orders, direction/directions or a writ in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the respondent no. 3 and 4 to release the compensation amount on account of the land acquired under the Khata No. 69, Survey Plot no. 543, Mauza Simaliya, Thana No.139 in District Ranchi in which the petitioner having Sub-plot A, Survey Plot o. 543, measuring an area 18½ decimal for which the petitioner was not paid any amount and after duly calculated the amount paid in favour of the petitioner with statutory interest till the actual 2026:JHHC:12848 2 payment is made. AND/OR b. For issuance of an appropriate writ, order/orders, direction/directions particularly writs in the nature of Mandamus commanding upon the Respondent No.3 and 4 to decide the representation made by the petitioner vide dated 31.10.2025 (Annexure-9 & 10) requesting for payment of the compensation amount at the current market rate since the petitioner has not been paid any amount till date. AND/OR c. For issuance of an appropriate writ, order/orders, direction/directions directing the Respondent authorities to hold an enquiry regarding the irregularity committed by the office of Respondent No.4, since the petitioner has neither been noticed nor has been paid any amount of compensation in lieu of land acquired.” 2. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned counsel representing the respondents. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that her land has been acquired by the respondents without paying any compensation, thus she is claiming compensation. 4. From the pleadings, I find that the petitioner admittedly purchased the land through a Registered Deed No.14248 / 12567 dated 17.07.2008. Though the petitioner claims that the land in question was mutated in her favour, but in para-12 of the writ petition, she has admitted that the land was acquired by the 2026:JHHC:12848 3 Government vide Declaration No.847 dated 21.11.2006 in Land Acquisition Case No.37/2005-06, which was published in the District Gazette No.112 dated 07.12.2006. 5. Since the petitioner’s purchase was after acquisition and after the declaration in the official Gazette, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. 5.1. If the petitioner feels that she has been cheated, it will be open to her to sue the seller. 6. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
