Learned Additional Government Advocate takes notice for all the respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to serve copies of the petition along with annexures on the learned High Court Government Pleader. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the third respondent - Tahsildar, Nanjanagudu Taluk has failed to make changes in the khata or mutation in terms of the final decree drawn in R.S.A.No.745/2012 at the hands of this Court and on the other hand, an endorsement has been issued by the Tahsildar rejecting the application. 3. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for petitioners' submits that the Tahsildar has noticed a mistake in the decree and it is in fact admitted by the petitioners that there is a mistake in the decree, where Survey No.4/1 is shown as situated at Chamalapura - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:20047 WP No. 11011 of 2026 Village instead of Nanjangadu Village. The learned counsel therefore admits that there is in fact a mistake in the decree and the Tahsildar has declined to consider the change in the name of the village. 4. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that it is not within the province of the Revenue Authorities to correct the decree. The petitioners will have to get the correction done in the decree itself. 5. Accepting the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioners to seek the correction in the decree and thereafter approach the Tahsildar for necessary changes in the revenue entries.
