2026:JHHC:15582 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 4527 of 2026 ------ Rohit @ Rohit Kumar Dubey ... Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand ... Opp. Party CORAM : HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY ------ For the Petitioner : Mr. A.K. Kashyap, Sr. Advocate For the Opp. Party : A.P.P. ------ 02/Dated: 26th May, 2026 Heard Mr. A.K. Kashyap, learned senior counsel for the petitioner and learned APP. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that out of 6 charge sheet witnesses, 4 witnesses have been examined so far. It has been submitted that an application has been preferred by the prosecution under Section 311 Cr.P.C and if the same is allowed, it would mean that there would be no chance of the trial being concluded in the near future. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner adds that the petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2024. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears that the pistols which were recovered on the confession of the petitioner and Vishal Prasad, as per the FSL report, were found to have been used in committing the murder of the deceased. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner which is hereby rejected once again at this stage. This application stands rejected.
