Case No. 11/25 dated 18.11.2025 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/25/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. And In the matter of : Ramkrishna Karmakar @ Pagla ……Petitioner. Mr. Satadru Lahiri Mr. Sandip Dinda Mr. Safdar Azam ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Joydeep Roy, Jr. Govt. Adv. Ms. Madhumita Basak ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that immediately he was granted bail in CRA (DB) 84 of 2025 on 15th January, 2026 the petitioner was arrested on 16th January, 2026 in respect of present case which was registered in November, 2025. Petitioner is in custody since the year 2021. Learned advocate for the State submits that there are materials that petitioner was linked along with an individual who was released on bail and was operating on behalf of the present petitioner. The investigation of the case is in progress. 2 Having considered that the investigation is in progress, at this stage, I am not inclined to address the issues canvassed by the petitioner. Petitioner would be at liberty to canvass all these issues and renew his prayer for bail after the charge sheet is submitted by the investigating agency. At this stage, CRM (NDPS) 501 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
