Having heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner for regularizing service as he is working since last more than 18 years, accordingly, learned counsel submits that the instant writ application may be disposed of by giving direction to the concerned respondent no.3 who shall take a decision on the issue of regularization. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent-University submits that since no counter-affidavit has been filed; as such the petitioner may approach the concerned respondent. 2026:JHHC:15258 2 4. Having regard to the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the prayer of regularization as well as the fact that the Hon’ble Apex Court has recently laid down the law on regularization in several judgments, this Court directs that the petitioner to approach the concerned respondents with a detailed representation enclosing the relevant judgments. 5. Upon receipt of such representation, the concerned respondent shall take a decision in the matter in accordance with law, applicable rules and regulations and in light of the latest judgments decided by the Hon’ble Apex court on the issue of regularization by passing a reasoned and speaking order. 6. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
